Nonny Nichols

d. March 14, 2021

Nonny-Bigs was the biggest, sweetest, gentlest, fiercest dog ever. Never hurt a flea. We lost her in March of 2021, just short of ten years with me. She was a rescue, a dumped dog. I found her in my neighborhood in Texas on April 30th, 2011. She was skinny, riddled with fleas, and had fresh blood under her neck and scabs on the top. She had clearly been tied up tight with a wire. I don't know if she escaped or if she was dumped, but I took her home. She knew she was home that first day, but it took me 5 months to realize it. I named her Nonny, for aNONYmous, because she didn't have a name when I found her. I miss her dearly.
