Mocha-Angelo Randolph

The life of this lovable pup started on the day his new dads found him in a ditch… waiting for his suffering to end. When he saw Bear and I he was so excited, you would not know how bad of shape he was in if you were not looking at the scars, and dire condition his body was in. Ever since that day, he has only ever known love, He only gave love, he only got love. He was a full American Pitbull Terrier and showed us all how much love he truly had. Even his nose and head were shaped like hearts with a yin yang symbol on top of his head. This pup was simply made to be love incarnate. He loved his dad Bear, and JT Randolph, and never wanted to be separated from them. When he met Ian Randolph, he instantly took to him. Mocha-Angelo became Ian’s first dog. The two loved and played so much you could clearly see the bond between a dog and his boy.

When Bear Randolph loss his battle with cancer it affected everyone that loved him. So, his adopted son Mocha-Angelo took it upon himself to do something he has never done. He started trying to bark and protect the home. After a couple seasons he finally learned a decent bark; though he still couldn’t hurt anyone, he did his best to keep all the dangers away, squirrels, cats, the real villains. He also protected from jumping rocks and moving rocks. Some might call them frogs and turtles, but he was certain they were magic rocks and would check every rock to make sure with a “Boop.” After the loss of his dad Bear, Mocha-Angelo’s favorite toy became a teddy bear that he would take with him everywhere. If he liked, you he would Boop you with his teddy so you could see it. You couldn’t have it, but you could see it.

In the last few months, we discovered mocha had a birth defect in his heart. His heart started failing him mid-May. Less than one week later it collapsed. We rushed him back to the ER where we learned that this time, they couldn’t stabilize him long enough to send home. We watched as he peacefully fell asleep in our arms. May 23rd, 2020.The legend of his love is one we will never forget. He now joins his dad, Bear as they play in the fields. When we see each other, we will all go together as a family across the rainbow bridge.

Mocha-Angelo is survived by his other dad, JT Randolph and his boy and brother Ian Randolph.

Mocha-Angelo, our “Angel of Love” you have your wings now.
