Daisy "Daisygirl" McBride

October 19, 2005 to April 26, 2019

Daisy was the best dog a family could ever ask for in life. She was so compassionate, loving, happy, smart, sweet, a great companion, and of course spoiled rotten. She was also a protector of her loved ones... Brian, Krystal, and Hunter McBride. Daisy was a fun-filled dog that just wanted to make us happy and to be around her family.

Daisy was the one! When we met Daisy, for the first time, we knew she was meant to be a part of our family. There was no doubt about it. She belong to us and we belong to her. Daisy became a part of our family when she was almost four months old. The joy she brought was heart feeling and everlasting.

Daisy lived a wonderful life. She loved her family and always wanted to be included, which she was. She knew she was family and she went with us almost everywhere. Daisy loved going to the bank to get a treat. She also loved going to McDonald's to get an occasional hamburger.

Some of Daisy's favorite activities included cuddling alongside her family, car rides, sunbathing (even in the shade sometimes), and camping. Daisy always knew when we were loading the camper and she wasn't going to be left behind. The best way to get to Daisy's heart was loving on her and scratching her ear.

Daisy was amazing with our son from the moment we brought him home from the hospital. She was Hunters forever protector. Daisy would lay right by his crib. She would alert us if he made a single cry. Daisy watched over Hunter and loved him unconditionally. They were best buddies. On Daisy last day, Hunter read her a story while she laid beside him.

In March 2019 Daisy was diagnosed with bone cancer. This news was such a shock and heart breaking . Daisy was a fighter though but unfortunately she lost so much muscle in her body she was suffering. Daisy was struggling to move and get up. When we looked into her eyes we knew it was time to say goodbye. That was the hardest decision ever made for our family but we know deep down she would no longer be suffering. It still doesn't take the heartache or missing her away.

Daisy will be greatly missed by her family. She loved with all of her heart and it showed. The pain is heart-wrenching but in no way would compared to not having her in our life. Daisy made such an impact in our family and she will never be forgotten. We love you so much Daisy! Rest in peace baby girl! Forever in our hearts ❤️
